Support the Knights Table Food Pantry on Giving Tuesday

This year on Giving Tuesday, Queens College is putting up the fight against hunger. The path forward through public higher education has never resonated so strongly, but this path cannot be paved unless our students' basic needs are met. Food insecurity is a problem not only at Queens College, but in the CUNY community. In the Fall of 2018, the Knights Table Food Pantry opened its doors and since it's inception, it has helped many QC students and their families to stop from going hungry.

During the pandemic, with the help of volunteers and the generosity of alumni and donors, over 816 students and their families were supported by the Mobile Food Pantry. Unfortunately, even as we work to move forward, we continue to hear countless stories of hardship from our students, especially the threat of food insecurity.

By donating to the Knights Table Food Pantry, you can benefit not only Queens College students, but the entirety of the CUNY community. The pantry offers a wide variety of non-perishable items and drinks at no cost. Everyone should know where their next meal is coming from. With your help, we can:

Help reduce food insecurity among QC students and their families by providing food and other assistance

Improve nutritional education on campus and in the community

Raise awareness about the programs and opportunities provided by the Knights Table Food Pantry
